Sharjah was officially selected as Arab Tourism Capital in 2015 but lacked a brand identity to support their image as a “tourism destination with a difference”.



We worked to help them conceptualize a new logo design to support an entirely new brand identity. We designed a logo that illustrates various distinctive aspects of Sharjah as the home of Arab and Islamic culture, containing features and landmarks unique to this emirate.



Our logo’s concept and design captures the cultural essence of the vibrant emirate and works in harmony with the existing Sharjah destination brand, featuring the word Sharjah written in Arabic on one half of the logo and the cultural heritage of buildings and landscape on the other half.
